Legal
We keep this simple, because we collect nothing. This website has no forms, no mailing list, no accounts, and no trackers. If you want to reach us, you email us — and that is the only information we ever hold.

01
We collect no personal information through this website. There is no form to fill in, no newsletter to join, and no account to create.
If you email us, we hold whatever you choose to send us in the ordinary course of correspondence — your address, your message, and nothing more.
Our website host keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and reliability. We do not use them to identify visitors.
02
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to anyone, for any purpose.
We do not operate a newsletter or marketing list, and we will not send you unsolicited email.
We run no advertising, no retargeting pixels, and no third-party marketing trackers on this site.
We do not build profiles of visitors or make automated decisions about you.
03
We use your message for one thing: to reply to you and to carry on the conversation you started. We will not add you to any list, because we don't run one.
Ask us to delete your correspondence at any time by writing to hello@cashewgroup.net and we will.
04
Our website host keeps standard server logs (including IP addresses) for security and reliability, and our email provider carries any correspondence between us. These providers act on our instructions and may not use your information for their own purposes.
We may disclose information if we are required to by law, or to protect our legal rights.
This policy covers visitors to this website only. Information provided to us by investors and prospective investors in connection with an investment is handled under the separate privacy notice delivered with our offering materials, and under the federal privacy rules that apply to that information.
05
We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising. If our host sets a cookie, it is strictly for the site to function. You can block cookies in your browser without affecting your ability to read this site.
06
We keep correspondence only as long as we need it for the matter you wrote about, or as long as the law requires. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect it, though no method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and to withdraw consent at any time. Since the only thing we hold is what you have emailed us, a single note to hello@cashewgroup.net satisfies any of these requests.
07 / For California residents
We are based in California, and this section applies to California residents. It follows the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the "CCPA"), the California Online Privacy Protection Act, and California Civil Code § 1798.83. We do not currently meet the CCPA's thresholds for a covered "business," so much of it does not apply to us by law — we give the disclosures and honor the rights below as a matter of policy regardless.
Category collected
Identifiers — your email address and message, only if you choose to write to us, plus internet activity information in standard server logs (such as IP address) kept by our host. We collect nothing at all from visitors who simply read the site.
Purpose
To reply to you, and to keep the site secure and operating. Nothing else.
Retention
Correspondence is kept as long as the matter requires, then deleted on request. Server logs are kept for a short period by our host in the ordinary course.
Not collected
We do not collect sensitive personal information, biometric, geolocation, financial account, health, education, employment, or commercial purchase information through this website, and we do not collect personal information from other sources for site visitors.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have not done so in the preceding twelve months, including for consumers we know to be under 16. Because we do not sell or share, there is nothing to opt out of — but a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" request is still honored the moment you send it. We also do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would trigger a right to limit.
Know and access — request the specific pieces and categories of personal information we hold about you, and how we use and disclose it.
Delete — request deletion of the personal information we hold about you.
Correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information.
Opt out and limit — direct us not to sell or share your information, and to limit use of sensitive personal information. As noted above, we do neither.
Non-discrimination — we will never deny you service, charge you a different price, or give you a lesser experience for exercising any of these rights.
Email hello@cashewgroup.net with the request you'd like to make. We will acknowledge within 10 business days and respond within 45 days, extending once by another 45 days if we need to and telling you why. To verify a request we will match the email address you write from against our records; if we cannot verify you, we will explain why. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written permission from you, and we may ask you to confirm it directly.
Under California Civil Code § 1798.83, California residents may ask once a year whether we disclosed personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not, and have not. Requests may be sent to hello@cashewgroup.net or to our mailing address at the bottom of this page.
We do not track visitors across third-party websites, so browser Do Not Track signals and Global Privacy Control opt-out preference signals have nothing to act on here. We honor them in any event, and we do not permit third parties to track you on this site.
08
This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
09
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted to mailing list subscribers.
